The SPCA will arrange for an inspection of your home, before the pet may be taken home.

Your adoption application must include all necessary paperwork including a copy of your ID, proof of address, and a letter of authorisation from your landlord or body corporate.

You must pay an adoption fee of R850 for dogs and R750 for cats in order to take home a pet that has been sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Win big at the SPCA Randburg competition

The SPCA is inviting locals to donate and help them raise funds. Platinum Wheels has sponsored a genuine, signed 2019 Rugby World Cup Jersey to be won in honour of the Rugby World Cup 2023.

For every R100 donation to the SPCA, participants will receive one entry into the draw to win. The winner will receive the framed jersey along with a certificate of authenticity.

Here is the playbook for the competition:

  • Make your R100 donation to the Randburg SPCA with payment reference #RugbyRaffle2023
  • Email your proof of payment, name and surname, and contact number to admin@spca-rbg.org.za
  • One winner will be randomly selected after the competition closes on October 28.
