Adoption Process:
Step 1: Animal viewing and interaction- You’re encouraged to spend time with the animals to find the perfect match. If you already have pets, bring them along for a meet-and-greet, or the SPCA will arrange a meeting to ensure harmony in your household.
Step 2: Application and deposit- Complete the adoption application form and pay a non-refundable deposit of R200. This step confirms your interest and helps secure your prospective pet.

Step 4: Home inspection- A mandatory home inspection will be scheduled to ensure the environment is safe and suitable for your new pet.
Step 5: Collection- Once notified that your pet is ready, you have 48 hours to collect them. After this period, the adoption may be cancelled, giving other families a chance to adopt.
