Guests enjoyed delicious food and refreshing drinks while sharing conversations, laughter, and moments that captured the heart of the season’s hope, generosity, and community.

Pastor Justin Naidoo, from Zoe Community Church, said: “We live in a world of uncertainty, with people facing different battles. This is exactly why Christmas speaks to us today. It tells us that God steps into human history with intention. He arrives with redemption for the broken, love for those who feel forgotten, and a plan that is bigger than what we can see in the moment.”

Attendees described the evening as warm, meaningful, and deeply needed at the end of a busy year. “The music was incredible, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere felt safe and joyful,” said attendee Nkululeko Nene. “It was a deeply moving experience for me as it was the first time I had attended an event of this nature.”

Another guest, Maxine Joseph, added: “There was something powerful about hearing familiar songs with so many voices around you. It reminded me why Christmas matters. It brought my focus back to faith, gratitude, and people.”

Zoe Community Church extended its appreciation to the musicians, volunteers, and hospitality teams who served throughout the evening, creating a welcoming experience for all who attended. “As we close out the year, our prayer is that what people felt here tonight goes home with them: Love, peace, and joy in their homes, and hope for the road ahead,” said Pastor Justin Naidoo.
