Unplanned water interruption hits parts of Bryanston after burst pipe
An unplanned water interruption has affected Berkeley Street, Westminster Street and Grosvenor Road after a burst pipe forced Johannesburg Water to shut off supply while emergency repairs are underway.
Johannesburg Water has announced an unplanned water interruption affecting parts of Bryanston following a burst pipe at the corner of Grosvenor and Main roads.
According to the statement issued by the utility, the water supply has been isolated to allow repair teams to safely work on the damaged pipeline.

“Johannesburg Water is carrying out repairs to a burst pipe at the corner of Grosvenor Road and Main Road, Bryanston.
Water supply will be isolated (closed), and residents in the affected streets will experience no supply for the duration of the repairs,” the statement read.
Affected streets are Berkeley Street, Westminster Street, and Grosvenor Road.
“There is currently no estimated time for restoration. Further updates will be provided as progress is made.”
