Turnout grows at FC Pro Athletico training session
More young players are joining FC Pro Athletico’s practices at Sandown High School as the club continues rebuilding its grassroots football programme.
FC Pro Athletico’s weekly training sessions at Sandown High School are gaining momentum, with attendance steadily increasing as more children join the programme.

Founder and head coach Chris Dlamini said the club hosted its regular practice on April 12, where all registered players were present and actively participating in skills development. “We had practice today, and all players attended. The drill that they were doing was practising a shooting technique.”

The club offers football training to children between the ages of five and 12, focusing on building basic skills and confidence on the field.

Dlamini said FC Pro Athletico has been coaching at the school since 2009, and remains affiliated with a local football association, providing structured training opportunities for young players in the community.
