Bramley SAPS hosts Gauteng mass aerobics event in Marlboro
Police officers and residents gathered at Marlboro Community Centre to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen ties.
Police officers and community members were encouraged to put their health first at the Gauteng Provincial Mass Aerobics programme, hosted by Bramley SAPS at Marlboro Community Centre on August 26.
The event forms part of a monthly initiative run by the Gauteng SAPS Head Office across the province.

The project brings members of the SAPS aerobics team together for regular physical activity to promote healthier lifestyles and improve overall well-being.
Phumj Ziqubu, a member of the provincial SAPS, said the monthly events give SAPS members a chance to exercise and connect.

“At the SAPS mass aerobics, which are held every month, today we are at Bramley. Please come and enjoy,” said Ziqubu.

The initiative also aims to encourage exercise in the workplace to improve conditions and quality of life through mobility, stretching and strengthening routines tailored to work needs.
The programme’s message was summed up in its slogan: ‘Fit body. Stronger community. Safer tomorrow.’
