On 3 October Xpert Wheel & Tyre hosted a step-by-step tyre changing workshop for women.

Edward showed the ladies where to place the jack, how to loosen the bolts, raise the car, and how to remove the bolts completely before taking the tyre off the vehicle. Each lady had a hand at trying these steps for themselves.

Once the tyre was removed, the ladies each had a turn to place the new tyre on the car and tighten the bolts securely, before jacking the car down and replacing the hubcap. Lots of questions and loads of fun!

The ladies were treated to a manicure voucher at Lesarmario Beauty Bar, because Xpert knows that tyre changing can be hard on the nails!

Xpert Wheel & Tyre hosts its grand opening and inaugural auto show on Saturday, 27 October at 1 Coombe Place, Rivonia.

Continuing its artisanal theme, Xpert will host a range of gourmet pop-ups including Nomad coffee, Stripcheez, Boerelicious, Stuffed Churro Co, Shazmin’s Patisserie, Simply Mocktails and family favourites – Chip & Dip and Spur!

The 357, Super Car Lifestyle, Audi Club SA, Tony Viana Motorsport and several VAPE lounges will line the event, along with your favourite tyre brands. A DJ will be in the house so the party stays fresh and in-store discounts and vouchers will be up for grabs. The kiddies play area will entertain the family for the entire day.

Free entry to the Public from 9am and loads of parking available.
