Sandton law firm hosts sleepout

SANDTON - In solidarity with the recent 702 Sun International CEO SleepOut™, law firm Hogan Lovells supported the charitable initiative through a sympathy sleepout on 18 June.

The law firm supported their CEO, May-Elaine Thomson, who participated in the CEO SleepOut™, by braving a night out in the parking lot of its Sandton office. Thomson expressed pride at the effort made by the staff and their support for the initiative.

“The wellbeing and safety of our children has always been a priority at our firm [and] I am immensely proud of my team for their decision to stand united in creating awareness of the issues facing homeless children,” she said.

“We would like to encourage more South Africans to make a difference in whatever way possible and be more empathetic towards the challenges facing those who are less privileged.”

The firm donated over 150 bags of food items and blankets to the beneficiary of the CEO SleepOut™, non-profit organisation, Girls and Boys Town.
