School community rallies together to achieve 100 per cent pass rate

MORNINGSIDE – School communication's manager Nonhlanhla Kunene admits that while the year has been a rollercoaster for many, the school has learnt to adapt and work together.

Lycée Jules Verne French International School in Morningside would like to extend a special thank you to the Sandton community for its continued support.

School communication manager Nonhlanhla Kunene admits that while the year has been a rollercoaster for many, the school has learnt to adapt and work together.

“Covid-19 has been a challenge for everyone – teachers, learners and parents alike. As a school community, we have learned to adapt and work together to make sure that our learners continue to learn and thrive in a safe and secure environment,” she said.

The school’s collaboration and hard work proved victorious when the Class of 2020, who graduated in June this year, recorded a 100 per cent pass rate for the Baccalaureate.

“We are extremely proud of our Class of 2020 and look forward to similar results next year.

“On behalf of Lycée Jules Verne students, parents and staff, I would like to wish residents and the community at large a peaceful, joyful and happy festive season. May the New Year bring new learning experiences, new challenges and new opportunities.”
