Four-vehicle collision leaves thirteen injured in Woodmead

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

Thirteen people were left injured yesterday evening (30 January) following a collision between a mini-bus taxi and three light motor vehicles on the M1 south in Woodmead.

According to ER24, “AT 5.43pm ER24 paramedics and several other services arrived on the scene to find the four vehicles in the highway’s two left-hand lanes. Several people were found on the side of the road.”

Medics assessed the patients and found that three were in a serious condition while ten others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries and the three seriously injured provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
