Sandton police officials on a mission to clean up in the community
BRYANSTON – Six individuals who were known to occupy the area on the regular were arrested for the possession of marijuana on March 2. The ages of the six suspects range from 19 to 41.
The Crime Combat Unit of the Sandton Police Station made great efforts to eradicate criminal activities in the Sandton area during the course of February.
The crime prevention operations resulted in multiple successful arrests, including six individuals who were in possession of drugs.
According to the corporate communication of the Sandton Police Station, Captain Bheki Xulu, police officers conducted a stop-and-search operation on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Main Road.

About 21 arrests have been made since February 28: three suspects arrested for fraud, six for the possession of marijuana and other arrests were connected to housebreakings and stolen property.
The station management applauds the hard work and the competence of the Sandton police officers and other law enforcement agencies.
