Major traffic delays are expected in Sandton CBD as road closures take effect for the annual event.

Katherine Street, between West Street and Rivonia Road, will be completely closed, with surrounding roads also affected for Johannesburg Pride, according to an early public advisory issued by the Gauteng Provincial Joint Operations Committee on October 27.

The closures are scheduled to begin at 21:00 on October 30 and remain in place until 07:00 on November 1.
