JP Morgan Corporate Challenge back in action
JP Morgan Corporate Challenge 2022 welcomes back individuals from corporate spaces to their annual running competition.
Runners from all over South Africa were ecstatic and pleased to make their long-awaited return to the streets as they ran the largest corporate running event – the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, on March 31.
With over 6 000 individuals that participated in the race at Wanderers Club in Illovo, many runners were in high spirits before the race even started. The challenge went smoothly as no serious injuries were reported during the course of the race.

The prestige corporate challenge opened doors for people with experience of the 5,6 km distance race and those without any history of running.
“I really enjoyed every minute of the challenge and I am glad to be here with my family. It’s not about winning, it’s about having fun. I look forward to competing in the next challenge,” said Duncan Marsh.

The challenge, which started back in 1977 in New York, has managed to continue its run for 47 years in over 100 countries and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. The main purpose of the challenge is to give back to non-profit organisations. This year J P Morgan is set on making a donation to the Laureus Foundation.
