Lin will take on Zim

Brescia House School polocrosse player Fiona Lin will join South Africa’s junior U21 team ahead of its test series against Zimbabwe and Zambia in July.

Hard work and determination has paid off for Bresica House School polocrosse player Fiona Lin who was recently selected to join South Africa’s junior U21 team.

Polocrosse is a South African Equestrian Federation and South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee affiliated sport which combines polo and lacrosse.

The phenomenal team of junior players is scheduled to play against Zimbabwe and Zambia in July as part of a test series taking place in Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal.

“This will be the team’s first official international test match since the Covid-19 lockdown. Fiona, we wish you and the rest of the SA team all the very best,” said Brescia House School’s Helga Bishop.

This follows Fiona’s outstanding performance in the Polocrosse Junior Classic Tournament in May where her division A team walked away with the well-deserved victory.

At the tournament, she was awarded the best player for her position in addition to defending her Trickstick Champion title.
