Giselle prepares to take on the world with her talents
Mother of SA Championship gold medalist, Pamela Niemand, looks forward to seeing her daughter, Giselle perform abroad.
The saying that dynamite comes in small packages is no truer for the talented Giselle Niemand who will travel to Los Angeles on July 18 to compete in the World Championship of Performing Arts.
Brescia House School’s very own has been making a name for herself since she turned three. The young star recently competed in the 2022 South African Championship of Performing Arts and achieved gold medals in dancing, acting and modelling.
“Before qualifying for the World Championship of Performing Arts, I firstly had to go through the SA Championship and get a certain amount of gold medals. Most of my friends were really excited when I told them that I’ll be competing in the World Championship in Los Angeles – they sent me lots of beautiful messages,” said Giselle.
Her mother Pamela has been her biggest supporter since day one. Pamela recollected the first moment when her daughter decided to take performing seriously. “We were based in Sandton and when we relocated to Bryanston one of our neighbours in Sandton sent me a message saying that they missed her [Giselle’s] singing at night. That was when a star realised her talents,” said Pamela.
Giselle concluded, “I would love to inspire other people my age with my abilities. With hard work and practice, anyone can achieve anything.”
