Brescia House School reflects on the year 2023

Brescia House School is an independent Catholic girls’ school situated in the heart of Bryanston.

As the year draws closer to an end, Brescia House School took time to reflect on how their school year was and thanked all their staff, parents, and learners for their unwavering support throughout the year.

According to the heads of the school, Loredana Borello and Deborah Zambon, 2023 has been a year of adapting, introducing, and reintroducing.

“We are at the end of the year where we take stock and reflect on what we have experienced, and our Grade 12s have ended their journey, and we bid them farewell and express our gratitude for their unwavering commitment and resilience.”

Borello added that their Grade 12s were the ones who experienced high school before, during, and after a pandemic, and to her observations, they adapted superbly.

“It has also been a year of reintroducing programmes such as our Global Exchange with Ursuline schools in the USA. What a privilege to be able to experience different schooling systems and cultures.”

Zambon said a moment of pride this year is the completion of their new Early Learning Centre building project.

“We are proud to be introducing ‘Brescia Bears’, to our school community next year. It will cater for boys and girls from ages 3 to 5 and offer either a full-day or half-day programme.”

She explained that they cannot wait to welcome their Brescia Bear families to their school community.

“We take this opportunity to thank our staff, parents, and pupils for their unwavering support throughout the year and wish them all a blessed Christmas season.”
