Successful collaboration celebrated at Varsity College

The Client Treat was a great platform for all the Varsity College clients to engage with others and create relationships.

Varsity College Sandton hosted a client treat day, where all the companies and clients who have contributed to the success of their alumni’s and current student bodies were celebrated.

The regional client treat event thanked clients from a variety of companies for and recognised their contribution to shaping the future careers of students and alumni.

According to Anto Kagisho, the event had the career centres of IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall, Pretoria, Sandton, and IIE MSA showcase the immense value of the collaboration between the career centres and companies that empower the students.

“Students achievements from which they benefited are upskilling, assisting them with networking skills, and building their professional influence.”

Kagisho added that the highlight of the event was guest speaker Salome Jansen van Vuuren, the senior solutions architect for Africa at SHL, who spoke about navigating tomorrow: HR in the Age of Evolution.

“He unpacked the depth of navigating tomorrow in the age of evolution, understanding practical tools, and discussing the mindset needed for HR professionals and industrial organisational psychologists in crafting the future.”

Relebogile Maomela, career centre coordinator at Sandton campus, said, “The quality of our students is being recognised, and clients we have relationships with are just as excited as we are about collaboration and the future of our students.”
