A big afternoon for small learners at Montrose Primary School

Smiles, stories, and tired little feet marked the end of the school day as Montrose Primary School’s Grade 1 learners wrapped up their first day of big school.

The excitement of the first day of Grade 1 continued into the afternoon at Montrose Primary School, where learners emerged from their classrooms proudly sharing stories of new friends, lessons, and routines.

As the school bell rang, Grade 1s made their way to the playground to wait for parents, some still clutching lunchboxes and showing signs of a full and memorable day.
