SIHLE MSIZA: As a content creator, load-shedding has been such a struggle. You have to know the schedule at all times no matter what because things like ring lights, monitors and cameras require electricity and batteries have to be charged.
As we go into yet another week of load-shedding, the longest load-shedding period to date, Sandton Chronicle took to the streets to ask residents how they have been affected by the increase in blackouts.

TSHEGO PALEDI: I am struggling with load-shedding. It is extremely hard because I am a student and part-time content creator. No electricity means no Wi-Fi, no electronics for studies and no lighting for filming, it is a challenge.
LETHABO NKWANA: Load-shedding has just made everything harder for me. It honestly keeps us on our toes because now you have to take precautionary measures for the load-shedding. It is quite a hard balancing act.
