Crawford International announce their white honours blazer students

Project coordinator of Crawford International Sandton Campus, Nadia Cooke, congratulates all the learners who were awarded for their full colours.

Crawford International Sandton Campus had lots to celebrate with its excellent matric pass rate and the announcement of its latest white honours blazer candidates on January 20.

According to the school’s project coordinator Nadia Cooke, the white honours blazer is regarded as the highest award recognition given to a Crawford learner.

“This white blazer celebrates the achievement of learners who have achieved senior full colours across any three of the four disciplines – academics, sports, public speaking and service,” said Cooke.

Principal of Crawford International Sandton Campus Tracey Purkiss presents Xiao-Chi Juan, Adam Gorton, Kabir Burra and Maria Olmos-Padron with their white honours blazers.

Learners awarded with the white honours blazer for three disciplines were:

  • Kabir Bura received senior full colours for academics, service and debating.
  • Aarya Gordhan received senior full colours for academics, service and public speaking.
  • Adam Gorton received senior full colours for academics, public speaking and sports.
  • Ismail Hassam received senior full colours for academics, public speaking and service.
  • Maria Olmos-Padron received full colours for academics, gymnastics and public speaking.
  • Carmen Smith received full colours for academics, public speaking and service.

Xiao-Chi Juan was awarded full colours across four disciplines which included academics, public speaking, service and music.

“We congratulate these learners who have done themselves and Crawford International Sandton College proud.”
