Blaze devastates Sandown Village Office Park

Rapid response from emergency services prevents injuries as investigators probe the cause of the inferno.

A devastating fire tore through Sandown Village Office Park yesterday morning (November 18), engulfing the building and causing the roof to collapse.

The City of Joburg Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded promptly to the structural fire, arriving swiftly at the scene to combat the raging inferno.

According to Nana Radebe-Kgiba, Spokesperson for the City of Joburg EMS, firefighting crews worked tirelessly to contain the flames and prevent further damage to surrounding structures. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties in the incident.

“We can confirm that no one was injured in the fire,” Radebe-Kgiba stated. “Fire safety officers are currently on-site conducting investigations to determine the cause of the fire.”
