A powerful new voice in gospel music rises in Sandton
With All of Me, JUDAH ZA takes the leap from behind-the-scenes producer to powerful frontman in the world of gospel music.
In the world of gospel music, a fresh, powerful voice is rising. JUDAH ZA, born Dumisani Ngwenya from Sandton, is stepping out from behind the scenes to share his testimony through music.
Known for his work as a musical director, producer, and creative genius, JUDAH ZA has shaped the sound of many influential artists. Now, with his debut single, All of Me, released this March, he is ready to share his heart and faith with the world.
All of Me is an emotional anthem about surrendering to God, a theme deeply personal to JUDAH ZA. He explained that this song is his testimony. “It is my way of saying: ‘Lord, you can have all of me’. I realised I could not do things on my own anymore. I had to fully yield to God’s plan for my life.”

He added that the track features the powerful vocals of Tshepang Mphuthi, whose contribution is transformative. “Her voice brought so much emotion and depth to the song. She truly helped bring the vision of All of Me to life.”
JUDAH ZA pointed out that his transition from a behind-the-scenes producer to a front-and-centre artist has been both exciting and challenging. “It is completely different. As a producer, I helped others shape their sound, but now I am sharing my journey, and being vulnerable in a new way.”

He said that the upcoming gospel album promises to explore deep themes of faith, surrender, and trust in God’s plan. “This album is about journeying through faith and worship. It blends contemporary gospel with African worship, and the songs are designed to uplift, heal, and encourage.”
JUDAH ZA said his mission goes beyond making music. “I want my music to be a ministry. I hope when people listen, they feel God’s presence and are reminded they’re not alone in their struggles.”
