Wet conditions for Bryanston’s 500th parkrun

Despite the rain, Bryanston Parkrun’s 500th event was a resounding success, with participants showing their determination to run through any weather.

On April 5, despite rainfall, community members gathered in numbers to celebrate the 500th Bryanston parkrun.

Run director Peter Rolland initially considered cancelling the event due to the weather, but the strong turnout and enthusiasm of participants convinced the team to proceed. “We had an amazing turnout, with people determined to brave the weather and enjoy the run. Because it was our 500th event, we decided to go ahead.”
