Brescia House School’s Ciara Cleland brought the gold home
Nine-year-old gymnast Ciara Cleland shines at the Central Gauteng Gymnastics Association’s Gauteng Festival, earning gold and prestigious Junior Gauteng Colours.
Ciara Cleland (9) from Brescia House School has made her school proud by excelling at the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics competition during the Central Gauteng Gymnastics Association’s Gauteng Festival held on June 15.
Ciara’s remarkable performance saw her clinch the gold medal and secure 1st place overall in her category.

Her outstanding achievements did not go unnoticed, as she was also awarded the coveted Junior Gauteng Colours, a recognition of her talent, dedication, and potential in the sport.
Expressing her excitement, Ciara said, “I was nervous before the competition, but I focused on doing my best. I’m so happy to have won gold and to receive my Junior Colours. I love gymnastics, and I want to keep improving and competing at higher levels.”
