The winter essentials were collected through the school’s winter warmer drive, which saw participation from both parents and learners. Aimed at supporting and bringing warmth to children in need during cold months, the school’s donation point overflowed with warm essentials, including jackets, jerseys, and blankets.

Head of community outreach projects at the school Tania Roman said the effort was a practical lesson in empathy for the learners, showing them firsthand how they can make a tangible difference in their community. “We are absolutely blown away by the response. The volume of donations truly reflects the caring nature of our school community. It is heartening to see our learners so eager to help others, and we hope these contributions will bring a little warmth and comfort to the children at Kids Haven during the cold winter months.
“The school extends a massive thank you to every parent and learner who contributed. Your generosity will not only provide a warmth; it sends a powerful message of hope and solidarity to the children of Kids Haven.”
