Ashraful Aid CEO Suhail Wadee said the initiative aims to bring together thousands of volunteers to pack 5 000 food hampers to be distributed to vulnerable families struggling with food insecurity.
“Mandela Day is a reminder that every single person has the power to change someone’s life. Whether you can spare a few hours or bring your whole team, you’ll be part of something meaningful.

“We’re not just packing boxes; we’re showing real families that their community cares.
Mandela Day is about honouring the legacy of Nelson Mandela, by putting his values into action. It’s about compassion, service, and standing together for a more equal world.”
