Kelvin Drive’s speed limit a joke
A speed limit of 40km/h? On a downhill? How ridiculous. Or even on the uphill to work.
My car may just come to a complete standstill then. Why not say, “Drivers, please get out and roll your car down the hill slowly… and oh so cautiously… or push it up the hill instead of actually driving, so that inconsiderate pedestrians are prioritised.”
The deaths that have taken place, I’m assuming are pedestrians. These people clearly cannot estimate how far away a car is, and then run across the road. Why not use some common sense? Walk a little further up and cross at the traffic lights, or even use pedestrian sidewalks that have been provided if they aren’t crossing the road.
I still cannot believe there is a speed limit of 40km/h on a main road.
