Michael Mount Waldorf School’s basketball and volleyball teams make a showing at recent tournaments
Celebrating a weekend of victories and honours, Michael Mount Waldorf School's basketball and volleyball teams showed the competition how it's done at key tournaments.

Michael Mount Waldorf School proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of their basketball and volleyball teams, following a weekend of fierce competition and inspiring sportsmanship.
At the Mafikeng Basketball Tournament, held from March 7 to 9, the teams displayed exceptional skill and dedication.
According to the school’s communications person, Christina Seuffert, they are delighted to share that their U19 boys secured first place for the third consecutive year at the tournament, continuing their legacy of excellence.

“In addition, our U19 girls earned third place and were honoured with the Most Disciplined Team Award. A testament to their grace and sportsmanship, both on and off the court.”

Seuffert added that, meanwhile, at the Fourways High Volleyball tournament held on March 8, the players demonstrated remarkable teamwork and determination across multiple age groups, achieving the following results.
“Our U16A girls, U16 boys, and U14 boys’ teams all won gold, while our U14 girls won silver, our U19 girls won bronze, and our U16B girls’ team placed sixth in their division.”
She added that they are incredibly proud of their learners, not only for their outstanding results but for the spirit, resilience, and teamwork that they demonstrated throughout the tournaments.
