Teddy Bear Foundation plans something special for Father’s Day

PARKTOWN – People can give in the form of donation to the Teddy Bear Foundation for Father’s Day.

The Teddy Bear Foundation in Parktown has something special in store for Father’s Day. According to Donor liaison officer Dalene Bishop, they will be working on the same idea used for Mother’s Day.

“People donate to us in order to honour their father and we deliver a card saying the person has donated in lieu of a gift. We do however also gift the dad with a special mask we have had made and the Gingerbread man as illustrated in our advert,” she said.

Bishop said that by making a donation to the Foundation, residents will be making tough situations for abused children that much easier.

Gifts will be delivered in a sterilized box (which will be inside another sterilized box) for the person receiving to handle; the same way Mr. Delivery does.

Father’s Day is on 21 June.
