VEREENIGING.- ‘Kopano ke matla’. Kopanong Hospital general workers stood together as they vented their anger over what they termed nepotism at the hospital on Wednesday last week. The workers are upset after an internal admin clerk post was advertised. The requirement for this post was two years experience or equivalent qualifications. However, according to the protesters, interviews were conducted and all went well, but then the outcome was suspicious.

Nelson Kutlwana, an employee, explained: “The person who got the job is still on probation as an intern and has not even completed a full year’s service. It is also suspicious as one of the officials is acquainted with the elected.” Malefu Neti, a colleague agreed with Kutlwana’s point of view and claims that protocol was not followed. Linda Phaswane, another colleague, also shared the same sentiments.
