Fire claims the life of one – Kokosi

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the body of the woman lying outside her home on the porch. The woman had apparently been pulled outside her home by an unknown member of the community.

Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had already succumbed to her numerous wounds. ER24 paramedics found that she had sustained severe burn wounds. On further assessment, several apparent stab wounds were also found on the patient’s body.

Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the patient and she was declared dead on the scene.

Fire services managed to extinguish the blaze prior to the arrival of paramedics.

Members of the community had apparently attempted to extinguish the blaze, using buckets of water and sand.

Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
