Two nabbed for human trafficking

Vereeniging Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda states that the two females had a meeting with the two culprits who are their facebook friends at Southgate recently. "Two Nigerian suspects aged 30 and 31 have since been arrested and are facing human trafficking and rape charges."

VEREENIGING. – Two nigerians have been arrested after they took  two white females aged 18 and 20 to Riverbend gardens where they gave them drugs and further raped them.

Vereeniging Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda states that the two females had a meeting with the two culprits who are their facebook friends at Southgate recently. “Two Nigerian suspects aged 30 and 31 have since been arrested and are facing human trafficking and rape charges.”

Funda further warns members of the community about people pretending to be police officers in the CBD. “The person will approach you and tell you that you are a suspect of a robbery, in the process they will take you to a motor vehicle where they will ask you how much you have in comparison to the money that you have stolen from your victim.

“They will then take you to a building where you are suppose to meet with the complainant, take your money and leave you staranded.” Funda concludes, urging members of the community to be more vigillant.
