Protesters disrupt exams at NWU Vaal

Protesters allegedly entered a test venue at the NWU Vaal yesterday and forcefully removed students from the venue. Police and private security then came to the scene and secured the venue.

Protesters disrupted a Fundamental Rights Test at North West University’s Vaal Triangle Campus yesterday (17 October 2016), reports Ground-up News.

The protesters allegedly entered the test venue and forcefully removed the students from the venue. Police and private security then came on the scene and secured the venue. After about 15 minutes the invigilator called back the students to continue writing. The exam continued under police protection. Some of the students were apparently too traumatised to continue writing the test and went home.
