VANDERIJLPARK. – Three suspects  have been arrested by the police in connection with the murder of   Warrant officer Michelle Stephenson.

Stephenson’s body was discovered last Tuesday morning by her neighbour and two colleagues. She was killed in her home, in Westinghouse Boulevard. It is suspected that she was strangled.

Boipatong Police Spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Koago, confirmed that three suspects were arrested. “At this stage, police are still questioning the suspects. It is not yet confirmed  that the three are connected to the murder.” Koago concludes.

Stephenson’s memorial service is taking place today.
