Second chance to pass your matric

GAUTENG. - The Department of Basic Education has established a Second Chance Matric Support Programme which means that matric students  can now rewrite their Grade 12 subjects to either improve their marks or to pass subjects they’ve previously failed.

The  Matric Support Programme targets the Matric Class of 2015 who want to improve their Grade 12 results or those who have failed a maximum of four subjects. The successful candidates will be offered tuition, supplementary guides, life skills and career guidance so that they can attain their National Senior Certificate.

The Programme which started in September, will continue until December 2016.The next stop for the roadshow is  Gauteng  on November 26.  Officials from the  National Department of Basic Education owill be at Bara Mall in Soweto to share information on the programme and registration processes .
