The 21st anniversary of the signing of South Africa’s new Constitution was recently celebrated at Constitution Square in Vereeniging. The event was presented by Sedibeng’s Executive Mayor Ms Busisiwe Modisakeng. The municipalities of Emfuleni, Midvaal and Lesedi took part in the commemoration.
Mr Freddie Peters, DA stalwart in Midvaal and an avid campaigner for cultural and historical conservation in the Vaal Triangle, also took part in the event. Here he is taking part in a wreath-laying during the event.
