Invitation issued by Emfuleni Councillors Edward Von Bodenstein, Ward 4, Phillip Nothnagel, Ward 5 and Yvonne Coertze, Ward 9
We want to invite all Residents, Communities and Stakeholders to an Integrated Development Plan (IDP) meeting on behalf of the Executive Mayor of the Emfuleni Municipality, Cllr Jacob Khawe. The meeting will be held on 24 April 2018 at Eligwa Primary School SW1 (Vanderbijlpark) at 16h30.
The purpose of the meeting is to enable the Mayor to give progress reports to the respected communities on the 2018/19 Draft IDP and Budget report-back as required by Section 29(1)(b) and 16(1)(i) of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act32 of 2000) and on getting inputs and comments on the plan from the Residents of the effected wards so that we can hold ELM accountable in future.
It will also give all our residents an opportunity to meet ELM’s new Mayor and demand answers from the Mayor on the poor service delivery and the unacceptable state of Vanderbijlpark.
Please note that a Ward Councillor is not allowed to ask questions or take part in discussions.
