The drivers of two vehicles were killed in a head-on collision on the R501 in Carletonville
during the early hours of this morning (Sunday, 10 June).

Annine Siddall, a spokesperson for ER24, reports that at approximately 01:10 this morning, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found both drivers entrapped in their vehicles. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that there was nothing they could do to save the drivers. Both men, believed to be in their 30s, were declared dead on the scene.
