Man’s mysterious death shocks family

The mysterious death of 39-year-old Khathutshelo Tshabuse from Taubazaar, Sharpeville has left family, friends and the community at large in shock. The body which was discovered by a passerby on Sunday morning. It is said that Khathutshelo had visited a local pub in Tshepiso phase 3 on Saturday night.

SHARPEVILLE. – The mysterious death of 39-year-old Khathutshelo Tshabuse from Taubazaar, Sharpeville has left family, friends and the community at large in shock. The body which was discovered by a passerby on Sunday morning. It is said that Khathutshelo had visited a local pub in Tshepiso phase 3 on Saturday night.

Khathutshelo’s uncle, Eric Tshabuse says he last saw his brother’s son the previous day when he left to go to the pub. “I was alerted by someone who told me that a body had been found and that it is that of Khathutshelo. According to information that we received, he had an altercation with some people at the pub. We are very hurt by his death but we cannot say for sure what really happened.”

The owner of the pub, Joseph Negondeni said he last saw the deceased in the early hours of the morning. He confirmed that Khathutshelo had been involved in a fight with some people at the pub.” I am hurt by his death because we treated each other as family.”

Khathutshelo will be buried at his home in Venda. Sharpeville police have launched an inquest.
