Fifteen people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate after a light motor vehicle and a taxi collided on the R28 at the N1 intersection in Sebokeng this afternoon.
Ineke van Huyssteen, a spokesperson for ER24, reports that ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 16:30 and found the patients outside of the taxi. Two people were found seated in the light motor vehicle. Upon further assessment, it was found that fifteen people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
ER24, as well as various other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
