Judy Pienaar’s murderers arrested

VANDERBIJLPARK. - In a statement issued by Vanderbijlpark SAPD Communication Officer, Sgt Gertrude Makhale, six suspect caught for business robbery and murder of Mme Judy Pienaar.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – In a statement issued by Vanderbijlpark SAPD Communication Officer,  Sgt Gertrude Makhale, six suspect caught for business robbery and murder of Mme Judy Pienaar.

It is alleged that upon following up the information one (1) suspect was arrested in Thokoza in the East Rand and the other five (5) were arrested in Bophelong Ext.16. anderbijlpark Task team and the investigating officers worked tiressly from the 3rd August till the 15 August to trace the suspects of the murder of Mme Judy making sure that her life was not ended in vain in this month of Women’s month. The suspects (aged 40, 35, 30, 28, and 22). The suspects will be appearing tomorrow Friday 17\08\2018 Vanderbijlpark Magistrate Court.

What makes this arrest so unique is the fact that several businesses took place this month.  The situation was getting worse and became a great concern to the management and members of Vanderbijlpark SAPS.  It was also clear that this group operated in a highly organized fashion and the businesses in our area suffered huge losses. We are investigating the possibility that they might be linked to other business break in as one suspect is possibly linked with cases in KwaZulu Natal.  This arrest once again confirms that we can achieve more when we take hands with the community and other role players.  We value the input of the public and information of this nature enables us to bring these perpetrators to justice.

The Acting Station Commander of Vanderbijlpark SAPS, Col. Mkhorommbi Mmboyi, commended the members for their hard work and dedication.  The members worked relentlessly for the past 11 days to ensure the success of the operation.  Their hard work paid off and now these suspects will face the full might of the law.
