International legendary band Clout performs in the Vaal

For one night only, on Saturday September 29, the band Clout will be performing in a once-in-a-lifetime Legends Show at Vereeniging Barnyard!

VEREENIGING. – Forty years ago, in 1978, The Band Clout’s first and biggest hit, Substitute, reached No. 1 in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, Denmark and Belgium. It also reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart as well as on the USA Billboard Hot 100.

Other Top 10 International hits included Save Me, You’ve Got All of Me and Under Fire.

Clout split up in 1981, shortly after the release of their last major single, Portable Radio.

For one night only, on Saturday September 29, the original guitarist and vocalist Cindy Alter, the original drummer Ingi Herbst, Connie Foster on keyboards and the two guys that joined Clout in 1980, Gary van Zyl on bass guitar and Alistair Coakley on guitar, will get together for “An Evening with Clout” – just for us here in the Vaal! This is a once-in-a-lifetime Legends Show at Vereeniging Barnyard.

Meet and greet the band after the show!

Tickets are only R150 per person – well worth this exceptional experience.

The show will start at 19:30 sharp with the multitalented Monique as the supporting act from “Local is Lekka”.
