BOIPATONG. – Boipatong Police recently detained a female suspect who is a family member implicated in the murder of her brother who was found stabbed four times.

It is said that the deceased’s death may have come about over a house.

According to Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Koago, the suspect made a call to the Boipatong Police Station, reporting the case. Police responded to the scene and upon arrival found a male lying on the ground with stab wounds.

“There were four stab wounds. Police quickly called emergency personnel to assist and they declared the man dead,” said Koago.

A case of murder was opened and is being investigated. Koago said Police identified the deceased as Muhlupheko Moses Xelani.

Police questioned the sister and arrested her as a murder suspect. She appeared at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court on Monday.
