The Emfuleni Local Municipality informed residents of Vanderbijlpark, Bophelong, Tshirela and Tshepiso that there will be an emergency water supply interruption affecting them tomorrow (Saturday 22 December) from 07:00 until 16:00.
According to a Public Notice published on ELM’s Facebook page the interruption is due to emergency repair work that has to be done on a leaking pipe at the Vanderbijlpark reservoir.
Affected communities and businesses are advised to collect water for basic use during the shutdown period.
In the notice, the municipality apologises for any inconvenience that might be caused by the interruption.
