VEREENIGING. – On Sunday 23 December 2018 the Sedibeng Water Police and Diving Services were called out to the Riverside Beach Club to assist with the recovery of a vehicle and boat trailer from the river. It is unclear what caused the vehicle and trailer to roll back into the river. Luckily no one was injured.

The vehicle and trailer were totally submerged in the water and with the help of the Sedibeng Water Police and Diving Services both vehicles were recovered.

The Sedibeng Water Police urges people to be attentive and alert while boating on the Vaal River this festive season.
