Support group for parents who have suffered the loss of a child

The Dante Chan Christian Centre will establish a support group for parents who have lost a child through death

VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Dante Chan Christian Centre plans to establish a support group for parents who have lost a child through death.

This is a very serious and heart-breaking topic, and many parents that can afford it, will  undergo a vast number of professional healing and therapy sessions in the health care profession. A great need, however, still exists for a support group for parents who cannot afford professional counselling or who are still not at a place of acceptance and at peace after such a trauma.

At this support group parents will be able to make contact with other parents who have also lost a child.

All parents who have suffered such a loss and feel that they are in need of more or ongoing support, are welcome to attend a meeting that will be held at the Dante Chan Christian Centre in Gill Street, CW2, Vanderbijlpark, on Wednesday, 6 February at 18:00.

For more information please call Pastor Alwyn Wilken on 074 171 6503 or Sonja Duvenhage on 078 549 9134.
