VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) today embarked on a march to steel giant Arcelor Mittal in Vanderbijlpark.  The march took place under the theme #OurLandAndJobsNow, which forms a major part of EFF’s Manifesto.

During the launch of the Manifesto, EFF Commander In Chief (CIC) Julius Malema stated that they were not going to wait to be promised jobs and land. “We want our land and jobs now.”

Malema  further stated that 40% of people in South Africa were looking for employment and were not able to find employment. He further stated that many South Africans still live in poverty and end up resorting to crime in order to survive.

Also joining in the march were Arcelor Mittal outsourced workers who have been on strike for more than two months. The workers are demanding in-sourcing and decent wages.
