Tshiamo Community Project to host Art Exhibition

EVATON.- Tshiamo Community Project founder, Reverend Paul Vilakazi is the man with a mission to uplift young people in Evaton West through the arts.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Vilakazi said that his intention is to nature up and coming artists in the community and give them exposure.
Vilakazi will be hosting an Art Exhibition at the Evaton Mall on December 13 and 14 where he will also present portraits of the likes for former Safa President, Molefi Oliphant and Councilor Nomsa Mooi to mention but these two. Vilakazi said art can boost self-esteem, self-confidence and the pride of the country.

He believes that art can also be a source of income to young people especially those who are unemployed. “We are trying everything in our power to
empower young people in community through art and give them the platform to showcase their talent. Look, we are all aware that many young people are unemployed hence we encourage them to be part of the Tshiamo Community Project to teach them about art,” he told Sedibeng Ster.
