In his opening and welcome speech, Mohapi said that he wants the school’s pupils to graduate not only as highly knowledgeable in different fields but also to render sports as a part of their daily routine. “On behalf of the General Smuts and the sports committee, I welcome you and I invite you to become acquainted with the athletic programs of the school, our action and the facilities of the sports centre. Athleticism promotes values that are necessary for the consistency and progress of modern societies. Sports also promotes most importantly, blessings,” Mohapi told the pupils.

The school office administrator, Lucas Mazibuko hailed the event as a success and thanks everyone who contributed to the success of the event especially the teachers, principal and learners
