Park Ford: Dealer of the Year!
Park Ford’s owner, Danny Van As, and his management team would like to sincerely thank every single customer, as well as every Park Ford employee for their valuable contribution to this achievement.
VANDERBIJLPARK. – In its 35-year existence, Park Ford in Vanderbijlpark has added various achievements to its name, and for the past five years has been among the Top Five Ford dealers in its specific category in South Africa.
This year, Park Ford and its 60 staff members added another feather to their cap: At the recent National Ford Merit Awards, this dealership received the prestigious title as Dealer of the Year in its category.
The dealership was also appointed as runner-up in the Ford’s Sales Merit Club, and Workshop Manager Richard Shepherd was rated among the Top Ten in his category.
For the Dealer of the Year Award, Ford looks at all aspects of a dealer’s business:
It’s not just about vehicle sales but also about the performance of the finance department, the skills of the service department and the swift supply of parts. Customer satisfaction also carries a heavy weight in the criteria.
This is determined by client surveys and customer ratings after buying a vehicle from a dealer, or using a dealer’s services.
“Park Ford has received excellent ratings from our customers, which shows that they are highly satisfied with our service and that there’s a strong bond of loyalty.
“This is why our customers always return to us for more deals, even in times when the market is under pressure nationwide,” says Hilmar Rencken, Dealer Principal of Park Ford.
This dealership’s vehicle sales division has handled more than 15 000 transactions over the past 35 years, including new and used vehicles and is well-known for its thorough after sales care.
One of the staff members, Derick Seaman, has recently been appointed as a Ford Master Technician, of whom there are only a handful in the country.
“Ford is the oldest vehicle trademark in the world and has an excellent reputation in South Africa.
“Ford EcoSport has been the top selling compact utility vehicle for the past four years and the Ford Ranger, a firm favourite among South Africans, has won the International Pick-up Award 2020.
“With Ford’s trusted name, good value for money, a well-trained staff and excellent customer service the future looks bright,” says Hilmar.
